THE JOURNEY OF “CULTIVARSE”
Florsani is a company founded in 2006 that has as a main goal, to remain as a socially responsible company, committed on cultivating abundant and full-filling lives of the work team, clients and flowers. We live by our core which is based in 4 principal goals, represented as petals in our logo.
“Self Improvement”
“Lead by example”
“To evolve”
“Contribute to every part of the system”
This month we’ll be presenting the first of a series of interviews which will show the aspect of each petal of our philosophy, through out the work and lives of the people that work at Florsani.
April will be dedicated to our first petal: “self-improvement“, represented by two work colleagues which embodies, the best possible way, the following aspects:
Learn New Things: when a person is in the journey of self-improvement, learning is easier because he or she is open to new experiences, new lessons and can acquire knowledge based on the fundamental principal of moving foward to reach an important goal.
Be Proactive: in organizational behavior and psychology, proactivity by individuals refers to anticipatory, change-oriented and self-initiated behavior in situations. The person who has new ideas or strategies is creating a path to self-improve and learning how to become a better leader at work or a better person at home.
Learning from others: learning is a process that depends on experience and leads to long-term changes in behavior potential. We believe that the person who gives the others the opportunity to teach or influence them is in the process of “self-improving”. This can be achieve through out the team work done with colleagues, were knowledge is constantly updated and challenge the person to practice it every day.
Make every opportunity a learning experience: the importance of all being part of the business philosophy, within Florsani, is an aspect in which work is constantly done through daily tasks, without showing the hierarchies in the moment of learning. The cultivar, in this case, depends directly on taking advantage of every moment of the day to learn.
Grow professionally: growing professionally requires continuous learning of new skills. The person who cultivates himself is as well cultivating their work environment, their family environment, etc. That is why we believe that the integral growth is a direct result of these actions, which prepare the person to become an independent leader and obtain an evolution within the work processes.
